As President, I see an essential need to strengthen the comradery among local Plumbing and HVAC Contractors as it was in our Association's heyday. My goal is to return to a time when we had active and relevant monthly meetings with 50+ attendees and Annual Beach Conventions that everyone looked forward to being a part of. I invite all of you long time, new, and prospective Association members to commit one night per month in an effort to band together for our common interests. Our purpose as the Charlotte PHCCA, is to strengthen Contractors, Suppliers, and Manufacturer’s Representatives as businesses and support one another in our collective prosperity. Join with us as we reform this professional family (CPHCCA) to strengthen and work with the Charlotte building industry to meet our own challenges together and serve the public's needs for integrity and value.

CPHCCA is a group of Charlotte Area Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors, Suppliers & Manufacturer Representatives comprised of one man operations to multi-million dollar corporations.  Our primary goal is to present the Industry’s perspective of the daily challenges and issues we as business owners face; to the public, general contractors, and the Local & State Governments with which we interact.

A secondary goal is to strengthen our local community and industry.  We accomplish this by contributing time and resources to promoting the Plumbing & Mechanical Industry.  Another integral part of this goal is educating the next generation of technicians and mechanics in specially designed programs for our Industry.

CPHCCA supports various Institutions and performs fundraisers that support scholarship programs that help advance progressively interested folks in making careers out of our trades.  Thus we pass on the skills that we have acquired through the practice of successfully managing our businesses.

Founded over 75 years ago, CPHCCA has long taken stands for the local trade professionals and community of which it is a part.  We are your voice locally, statewide, and nationally on advisory boards and have delegates appointed locally by the Mecklenburg county commissioners.

Our members are officers and support efforts of the newly formed North Carolina Plumbing & Mechanical Association (NCPMA) which represents statewide concerns.  From there we have had members serve on boards appointed by the governor of our state and have also aided in lobbying legislatively for changes in government that help keep North Carolina at the forefront of progressive administration of safety and security in Plumbing and Mechanical practices.

We have also had members serve on PHCC committees nationally and participate in other avenues with our Senators and Congress in Washington, DC.  Our voice has the clout at all levels of Government to make our collective opinions on plumbing and mechanical regulations and administration known and respected.

United as Industry Professionals, we strive to be consistent, persistent, and persuasive regarding the advocacy of common sense and virtue in our livelihood.

The CPHCCA Golf Tournament is held in June every year.

The 41st Annual CPHCCA Golf Tournament will be held June 10th, 2013 with a 9:00 am shotgun start at Pine Island Country Club. The tournament style is captain’s choice with teams chosen based on handicaps. Dinner will be  provided after the round.
